Description
Launched in 1997 and re-powered with twin 325HP Cummins diesels on shafts in 2011, this is a quality vessel designed by Bill Upfold for local conditions and built by Bill Cranston to a very high standard in GRP/cedar.A much-admired Gulf cruiser, Simply Red is the quintessential family launch with masses of internal volume and storage and a fantastic light-filled saloon with twin sliding sunroofs and picture windows. Fully repainted prior to re-powering, her presentation is excellent and her large teak-laid cockpit is ideal for both socialising and fishing.
Accommodation consists of a generous mid-cabin double and four king singles with a large separate shower stall and electric fresh water toilet. The galley is secure at sea and fully equipped with quality Force 10 four-burner oven and microwave and two 12V fridges supplemented with a large cockpit freezer. A 6.5Kva genset and recent 230V inverter/charger amply cater for onboard power demand. New house batteries and EWoF have just been fitted.
